Economy continues to bite, traders start to despair

The local trading community now say that they are captive of the country’s economic challenges, where business is failing to pick up even within this last quarter of the calendar year.

Everisto kayondo, the chairman of kampala city traders’ association discloses that  the country’s re export position into the regional markets has now collapsed in part due to tax issues, beyond regional security challenges that are costing uganda nearly 1billion dollars in export returns.
