Iganga suffering from shortage of medical workers
Of huge concern is that the facility has no mortuary which forces the workers to keep bodies in the same rooms with patients who are on admission.

The absence of an antithetic officer at Kigulu health centre 4 has left medical conditions which require surgery at a stand still as patients are forced to trek long distances in search of medical attention at the Iganga referral hospital.

Kigulu health centre 4 constructed in 1996 has a modern theater fully equipped but has no apathetic officer who is supposed to sedate patients before they are operated on.

Ironically, all the necessary drugs which a required during operations are delivered on time by the ministry of health to a facility that has no officer to use the supplies.

Of huge concern is that the facility has no mortuary which forces the workers to keep bodies in the same rooms with patients who are on admission.
