Harambee Stars skipper Victor Wanyama has said they have buried the hatchet with Tottenham teammate Harry Kane after the England forward questioned his shooting skills recently.

The Kenyan international midfielder made the revelation moments after winning the English Premier League Goal of the Month for February for his sensational strike against Liverpool.

"The good thing is that he (Kane) apologised and he said 'now you can shoot'," said Wanyama.

Kane, who is on a free scoring run for both club and country, has questioned Wanyama's accuracy in front of goal in the past, and especially after a couple of goal-bound attempts made by the midfielder in training ended up way ward off target.

Wanyama at the same time described the strike against Liverpool as the "best he's ever scored."

"I just reacted before the Liverpool players and I thought I'll just let it go. That was one of the best goals I've ever scored."
