Leaders divided over relocation after Bududa landslides
The Minister of State for Disaster preparedness, Musa Ecweru, says that once resettled, each household will be allocated 2.5acres of land to rebuild their lives

The lives of scores staying in the Mt Elgon slopes in Bududa district have been placed in peril as leaders row over whether to accept the land secured by government to relocate locals.

This comes at the time cracks continue to emerge in areas recently hit by landslides.
