DR Congo refugees flood Ntoroko district as tribal clashes intensify in the country's east
The Secretary-General of the Uganda Red Cross Society, Robert Kwesiga said that to manage the refugees flooding in across the border with the DRC the organisation will need at least 5million US Dollars.

Ntoroko District’s health facilities and infrastructure are under strain as thousands of refugees continue to cross into the small western Uganda district from the neighbouring Democratic Republic of Congo.

 

The Congolese refugees are fleeing from their homes across the border after an intensification of violent tribal clashes over the last few weeks.

 

The Secretary-General of the Uganda Red Cross Society, Robert Kwesiga has said that to manage the refugees flooding in across the border with the DRC the organisation will need at least 5million US Dollars.
