President Yoweri Museveni has warned those try to destabilise Uganda using weapons, that they will not succeed because the country has the capacity to defend itself.

Addressing Parliament on issues to do with security, Museveni said that the country can rely on its reserves, and they can back the standing forces, and intelligence services in times of war.

‘’This strategy was used against Kony in the north, and ADF in the west. It is a reliable and affordable strategy for younger states still building their capacity, even developed countries such as Israel use this strategy. It is therefore stupid for anybody to think they can destabilise Uganda using weapons’ He said.
