MPs vote to suspend parliament until answers to Entebbe murders are given
The two ministers did not honour the directive by Speaker Rebecca Kadaga to have them address the killings as soon as Parliament returns from recess.

Members of Parliament have voted to suspend sittings until the Minister of Internal Affairs and his security counterpart, give a comprehensive report on the spate of killings in Wakiso district, that has left at least 19 women dead in three months.

The two ministers did not honour the directive by Speaker Rebecca Kadaga to have them address the killings as soon as Parliament returns from recess.

The MPs flatly rejected a request by Deputy Speaker of Parliament Jacob Oulanyah to have them debate the situation on Bugisu sub-region where some lives have been lost and hundreds displaced by mudslides.
