AGE LIMIT DEBATE: Opposition accuses NRM of bribing constituents
However, The Spokesperson of the NRM Secretariat Rogers Mulindwa has rubbished the claims saying the money is meant to facilitate their constituents. The MPS got 29 million shillings for consultations.

The opposition has accused the NRM ruling party of bribing Constituents in the ongoing Presidential age limit consultations.

During their joint press conference at FDC Headquarters in Najjanankumbi, leaders from the FDC, Justice Forum as well as the Conservative Party said the money dished out is influencing the public towards accepting the removal of the presidential age limit.
