Energy Minister Irene Muloni, says parliament is yet to offer space for law makers to reciprocate in reviewing the Oil Pipeline Treaty

Parliament of Uganda is yet to ratify the East African Crude Oil Pipeline Project, long after Cabinet approved the $3.5 Billion dollar joint project with the Republic of Tanzania.

On Monday, Tanzania’s Parliament ratified the treaty for the 12.6 Trillion shilling infrastructure project, paving way for the country to mobilise and deploy its counterpart funding towards the joint venture pipeline.

Energy Minister Irene Muloni, says parliament is yet to offer space for law makers to reciprocate in reviewing the Oil Pipeline Treaty and ratify it as well, a head of construction planned for 2018.
