NRM caucus endorses constitutional amendment bill
Out of the 296 members who attended the caucus meeting today at the OPM’s office, only seven rejected the motion.

The NRM House caucus has given the Igara West members of parliament Raphael Magyezi to table a motion before parliament seeking to amend article 102B of the constitution to lift the presidential age limit.

Out of the 296 members who attended the caucus meeting today at the OPM’s office, only seven rejected the motion.

The caucus meeting however blocked a motion of Kassanda North MP Patrick Nsamba that was seeking the presidential age limit amendment to be handled with other constitutional amendments through a Constitutional Review Commission.
