A section of members of parliament is concerned that the absence of the two speakers has stalled parliament business.

Speaker Rebecca Kadaga is currently in Mauritius while her Deputy Jacob Oulanyah is in Brussels after parliament was adjourned till 27th March.

Some say committee business is not affected, while others feel that these trips are costing parliament financially.
