Kenyan duo Baryan and Chatthe dominate day one of Pearl of Africa rally
Uganda’s best performers on day one were Duncan ‘Kikakane’ Mubiru and Ronald Sebuguzi, but they hardly came close to the times set by their Kenyan rivals.

Kenyan drivers Manvir Baryan and Jaspreet Chatthe have dominated day one of the Shell Pearl of Africa Rally after posting impressive times in Friday’s Super Special Stage at Busiika double track.

Jaspreet who won the same rally back in 2015 is looking for points that will help him win a second Africa Rally Championship title. His younger brother Dilraj Chatthe is also taking part in the two-day rally that heads to Kayunga tomorrow.
