Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has said his Black Stars could have left the Mandela national stadium with victory if the referee had not disallowed his dying minutes goal.

The Black Stars forced their Cranes counterparts to a  goalless draw a result that has dented the Ugandan side’s chances and handed Egypt the advantage in the World Cup qualifier games. Uganda Cranes captain, Dennis Onyango, blamed the lacklustre performance on the football turf. which was ravaged by prayers held at the stadium three days ago.
