Ex Onduparaka striker Muhammad Shaban fined 22million by FUFA, allowed to play for any club
The WestNile giants appealed to FUFA, and today, the striker has been ordered to buy out the rest of his one year contract with Onduparaka at 500,000 per month, and also pay a 10 million shillings fine. This will bring his fine to 22 million shillings.

Former Onduparaka Striker Muhammad Shaban has been cleared to play for any club of his choice and ordered to pay 22 million shillings to his former club Onduparaka.

KCCA FC has been trying to force through the transfer of Muhammad Shaban from fellow Azam Uganda Premier League side Onduparaka.

Shaban had said that he was no longer interested in playing for the Arua based side.

And KCCA FC jumped at the opportunity to sign the striker.

However his club Onduparaka FC insisted the player was still under contract with them and should honour his obligation. The WestNile giants appealed to FUFA, and today, the striker has been ordered to buy out the rest of his contract with Onduparaka at 500,000 per month, and also pay a 10 million shillings fine.

This will bring his fine to 22 million shillings.

FUFA, therefore, authorised the committee to let Shaban play for a club of his choice. However, should the player fail to pay for damages and compensation to his former club, the licence will automatically be withdrawn.
