CHAN qualifiers: Micho confident that Uganda will beat South Sudan
A win for Uganda will guarantee them a place in the next round of qualifiers against either Tanzania or Rwanda.

Cranes tactician Micho Sredojevic has expressed his confidence in his team ahead of Saturday's African Nations Championship qualifier against South Sudan at the StarTimes stadium in Kampala.

Micho prides himself in having a formidable home record with the Cranes having overseen Cranes victories in Uganda over some of African football’s aristocrats. He says it will be business as usual when the Bright Stars of South Sudan to to the artificial pitch at StarTimes Stadium on Saturday.

The venue of Saturday’s return leg is home to reigning Ugandan champions KCCA FC.

Tom Masiko won a league and cup double with KCCA FC but has since moved on to Vipers SC. The midfielder will look to use his knowledge of how to play on the synthetic pitch to earn more marks with his coach.

A win for Uganda will guarantee them a place in the next round of qualifiers against either Tanzania or Rwanda. A goalless draw will meantime lead to a penalty shootout, but Micho is confident that the tie can be put to bed in regulation time.
