Police FC make major acquisitions to beef up team ahead of next season
Abdallah Mubiru, the Police FC coach, has been quick to make his move in the transfer market as he readies for the forthcoming season.

Police Football Club appear to be pulling all the stops to ensure that they are competitive in the forthcoming season.

Abdallah Mubiru, the Police FC coach, has been quick to make his move in the transfer market as he readies for the forthcoming season.

The 2005 league champions have been active in the transfer season having survived relegation by a whisker last season. Police FC are looking to raid Proline before ending their activity in the transfer market.

Last season, Police finished a staggering 33 points behind eventual champions KCCA FC. This after they won only eight of their 30 league matches.

Abdallah Mubiru, however, believes that their fortunes can be turned around with the new infusion of talent that has taken place in the pre-season transfers.

The 2017/2018 season is scheduled to get underway in September with Police among the 16 teams that will vie for top honours.
