The Capital Markets Authority CMA, has launched its 10 year Master Plan, which largely sets the stage for intensive encouragement of domestic and external capital mobilization

The Capital Markets Authority CMA, has launched its 10 year Master Plan, which largely sets the stage for intensive encouragement of domestic and external capital mobilization for both public and private sector players.

Prime Minister Dr Ruhakana Ragunda, says that government and local authorities would ultimately pick interest in both infrastructure and municipal bonds, going forward in order to bridge the country’s infrastructure financing deficit worth trillions of shillings.

However the sector faces a serious lack of appreciation especially in the key ministry of finance.
