Rwanda electoral commission begins nominating presidential candidates
The Executive Secretary of the National Electoral Commission of Rwanda, Charles Munyaneza, says three candidates have so far expressed in the presidential race.

The National  Electoral Commission of Rwanda says they are ready to conduct the 2017 presidential elections, which will be held on the 3rd of August for Rwandans living  abroad and on the 4th of August those resident in Rwanda.

Addressing visiting journalists from East Africa at the electoral commission headquarters in Kigali, the Executive Secretary  of the Electoral  Commission, Charles Munyaneza said three candidates have so far expressed in the presidential race. 

President Paul Kagame will be nominated during the delegates conference of the ruling Rwandan Patriotic Front on Saturday.
