Parents in Hima town council Kasese district will pay a Shs40,000 fine or do community service for not keeping their children in school.

This comes after Police and law enforcement officers rounding up over forty children loitering around Hima town during school time in recent operations.

The town council’s Community Development Officer, Evelyn Masika, says the parents have been sensitized and are aware of the proposed fines and other punishments.
