On June 8 2017 Finance Minister Matia Kasaija presented a 28.9 trillion budget to the nation.

A panel that includes Cissy Kagaba, former BOU governor Ezra Suruma, Onegi Obel and Planning Minister David Bahati, discuss the strengths of and weaknesses of this budget thus bringing to the fore a reflection of the praises and criticisms.
