KCCA flags road safety hotspots, calls for action on ESP auto failures

The Kampala Capital City Authority has identified hotspot areas, as indicated by the 2024 Annual Kampala Road Safety Report, which shows an increase in the number of serious injuries sustained by road crash victims. During the launch of the report in Kampala, Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago urged all stakeholders to expedite initiatives aimed at improving road safety to save lives. Lukwago also called for punitive action against those responsible for the failed implementation of the ESP Auto system, which resulted in several motorists being cheated.
