Heavy rains in Mt. Elgon, Teso displace hundreds

Heavy rainfall in the Mt. Elgon and Teso regions has continued to cause havoc, cutting off roads and displacing hundreds of people. Floods have damaged houses, as well as crops and produce in various stores. In some areas, the movement of people and goods has become nearly impossible.
