The NRM flag bearer in the 2026 presidential race, Yoweri Museveni, has resumed his campaigns with rallies in Nebbi and Zombo districts. Museveni promised to prioritize infrastructure development in the region. Some residents, however, said that some of the promises he made in the area in 2021 have never been implemented.
