NUP’s Kyagulanyi decries slow pace of development in Kisoro, Rubanda

While campaigning in Rubanda and Kisoro districts, NUP presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi decried the slow pace of development in the two areas—despite their status as prime tourism hubs hosting the world-renowned Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, parts of the Virunga Mountains, and sections of the Mugahinga Mountains, home to endangered mountain gorillas. Kyagulanyi said that although tourism has spurred businesses like hotels and health facilities, the locals have yet to feel its true impact. David Ijjo reports from Kisoro.
