Youth participation in poverty reduction strategies |Morning At NTV
Join us as we explore the effectiveness of Uganda's poverty alleviation interventions in 2024. Since the inception of the Poverty Eradication Action Plan in 1997, the government has implemented several strategies, such as Entadikwa, Bonna Bagaggawale, and the Youth Livelihood Program, to combat poverty. Despite these efforts, many Ugandans feel the situation has not improved. In this video, Moses Kidega (Secretary, National Youth Council), David Musiri (Head of Institutions, NUP), and Macxzzon Muhwezi (Member, NRM National Youth League) discuss the progress, challenges, and gaps in these programs, with a focus on youth involvement.
