AfCFTA delegation launches trade pilot in Uganda
Creating a continent-wide market will require a determined effort to reduce all trade costs and barriers (NTBs). However, despite the various protocols signed by leaders at the continental level, many non-tariff barriers to trade still exist among countries. To bridge the gap, the AfCFTA Secretariat has sent a delegation to Uganda to initiate a pilot project to promote trade and investment. Betty Ndagire reports.
