Finance minister urges Uganda Development Bank to expand
Finance Minister Matia Kasaija has admitted that the Uganda Development Bank may not be reaching as many small and medium enterprises as possible and advised the lender to channel some finances into opening more branches across the country. He was speaking to the press at the bank's headquarters, where Chief Executive Patricia Ojangole said the national development finance institution has posted a profit of nearly 50 billion shillings this year.
