First public electric charging station launched in Kampala
Total Energies, Partners Motor Care, Centenary Bank, Green Hub, and the Danish Government have today launched their first-ever public electric charging station in Kampala on Wampewo Avenue. The over 110 million shilling infrastructure will, according to officials, offer affordable charging rates to EV riders and drivers. Stephen Kaboyo, the chairman of Total Energies Marketing, opined that the installation of the first EV charger solution is part of the journey to support the country in achieving its net zero goals.
