Uganda Clays posts UGX 2.75bn profit
Uganda clays limited continued to defy pandemic induced economic effects to post a profit after tax of 2.75 billion for year ended June 2021 from a loss 1.4 billion, on the back of what company officials attribute to an increase in sales volumes during the period. Ruben Tumwebaze the managing director for the clay maker says, the firm has a target to hit a million tiles for Kajjansi factory alone, from the total production of 9,50000 tiles daily to-date.
