Former LRA children face education, livelihood challenges
Children born during the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) insurgency in northern Uganda continue to face severe challenges, including limited access to education, early marriages, and a lack of entrepreneurial skills.
More than 1,000 of these children, organized under the Youth Advocacy Network, highlight their struggles to meet basic needs and access social services. Beatrice Otalla, born in captivity, explains how these issues hinder their pursuit of the peace they have longed for.
