Lord Mayor Lukwago halts new landfill procurement process
Following another chaotic attempt to address Kampala's solid waste crisis, the Kampala City Executive Committee, led by Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago, has halted the land acquisition process for a new dump site until a comprehensive progress report is provided. Lukwago has warned the council against obstructing this process.
