Namugongo Organisers say more than three million pilgrims expected
Amidst war and violence in 1978, Fabian Nzungu, journeyed to Namugongo Martyrs Shrine to pray for good governance.
He wanted to be united with his family, who were then living in Kisoro at the time. His prayers to the Uganda Martyrs saw his wishes granted.
Over the years, Fabian has held a strong connection with the martyrs and today, the Uganda Martyrs shrine is home to him.
