Adventist church calls for more support for vocational education
The Bishop of the Busoga Seventh Day Adventist Diocese, Jimmy Kajura, has urged the government to prioritize the funding of vocational education by supporting institutions in acquiring training equipment for students. Bishop Kajura's call came as he celebrated 75 years of the Adventist faith in Uganda. Kajura says that only vocational skills will help in job creation, especially among the youth. His call also coincided with the commemoration of 31 years of the Light Secondary and Vocational Schools, located in Bulenga.
