Balaam Barugahara asks Mbarara's street children to register for National Identity Cards
The State Minister for Children and Youth Affairs Balaam Barugahara has asked Mbarara's street children to register for National Identity Cards to benefit from government programs like Parish Development Model (PDM), Emyooga, and other developmental programs. The call came last evening, during a fundraiser for Nuwamanya Charity Foundation which is fundraising to build a home for street kids, due to a crisis in Mbarara city. The ghetto kids complained to the minister about how they had been left behind especially when it comes to tapping into developmental government programs.
