Budaka Deputy RDC perishes in car accident
Memorial prayers for Juma Nabukalu, the Budaka Deputy Resident District Commissioner who died in a road accident on the Jinja-Iganga Highway, are due to start at Bugembe Blue Primary School before burial at the Moslem Cemetery in Jinja City. Nabukalu lost her dear life yesterday in a nasty accident as she traveled from Iganga to Jinja. On reaching Waina in Mayuge District along the Jinja-Iganga highway, her speeding driver, according to witnesses, tried to overtake some cars and, in the process, collided head-on with a truck that was traveling from the opposite side of the road.
