CHILD ABUSE: New helpline offers hope to vulnerable children
The 16 Days of Activism against Gender Based Violence (GBV) starts 25th November and stakeholders agree that violence against women and children has increased in the last two years. As one of the measures to end GBV, the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development has relaunched the Sauti 116 Child Helpline, and is mooting a National Male Engagement Strategy to engage men and boys to eliminate the vice.
