Following the arrest of former Deputy Resident City Commissioner Anderson Burora today, police say he faces charges of hate speech and spreading malicious information under the Computer Misuse Act 2022, as amended. Burora's arrest comes weeks after he came out to condemn the leadership of Parliament for allegedly failing to fight corruption.
