Government promises to address petition on alleged discrimination of Abavandimwe
The government has promised to respond to a petition by the Council for Abavandimwe, who claim to be discriminated against in Uganda. Wilson Kajwengye, the chairperson of the Committee on Defence and Internal Affairs, presented the report in Parliament, and the Prime Minister, the Leader of Government Business in Parliament, promised to respond within two months.
