Govt urges public to participate in new malaria study
The Health Ministry has launched the fourth Malaria survey, dubbed the ‘Malaria Indicator Survey,’ to help policymakers and program managers design strategies to improve health and eliminate malaria in the country. The exercise began today and will be conducted across the country in approximately 8,445 households in 302 census enumeration areas. Samples will be taken from children aged between 0 and 5 years. The ministry has asked the public to participate in this exercise so that it helps the country capture data that will guide them in service delivery.
