Health Ministry reveals 26 districts under tight watch due to Mpox outbreak
Due to the Mpox outbreak, 23 districts have been classified as high-risk, including 17 districts bordering the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), five districts hosting DRC refugees, and the Greater Kampala Metropolitan area. Uganda has registered 10 cases of Mpox, with four recoveries. The Ministry of Health assures that the country remains safe for travel and trade, and the situation is under control.
