Hundreds displaced after Bubeke storm
Hundreds of locals in Lwazi, Bubeke sub county, in Kalangala District, are now homeless after strong winds destroyed their homes and plantations, leaving them in despair. Many families are without shelter, prompting numerous calls to the Prime Minister’s office for relief and essential supplies.
While well-wishers have provided some assistance, Kalangala leaders have expressed concern over the government's delay in supporting the fishing community.
