Illegal fishing: Amolatar locals appeal to government for assistance
Fisheries State Minister Hellen Adoa has called on local leaders in Amolatar Districts to sensitize local fishing communities on modern and legal fishing methods to save the lake from fish depletion and also avoid clashes with the law enforcers. However, local leaders have also reiterated the need for the government to control the importation of illegal fishing gear into the country.
