Kakumiro District Service Commission officials accused of extortion
The Inspectorate of government is probing massive extortion and corruption by officials of the Kakumiro District Service Commission. The officials allegedly extort money from job seekers who apply for various civil service jobs in the district. Victoria Mirembe Tindifa, the Supervisor of Advocacy and capacity building at the Inspectorate of Government, says several complaints have been tabled in their office pinning some of the officials.
