Leaders in Nebbi district ban movement of livestock
For the last two months, various West Nile districts have experienced severe dry spells forcing many pastoralists and farmers to leave their homes in search of water and pasture for their animals. However, animal movement has enabled the spread of animal diseases like foot and mouth disease.
