LOP Ssenyonyi decries misery in Buvuma islands
The Leader of the Opposition in Parliament, Joel Ssenyonyi, has called on the government to intervene and save the people of Buvuma from the ravages of climate change. Currently, the water levels have risen, and some houses have been submerged in water. The situation, according to Ssenyonyi, is worrying. Ssenyonyi was in the Buvuma Islands to attend belated women’s day celebrations organized by the area woman member of parliament, Susan Mugabi Nakaziba.
