MPS ask prosecutors to thoroughly investigate cases
Officials from the office of the Directorate of Public Prosecutions have told MPs on the Public Accounts Committee of Parliament that the lack of enough staff and facilities especially in upcountry offices is curtailing their work. The MPs asked the officials to ensure that the case files that are forwarded to courts are thoroughly investigated to enable Ugandans to get justice. Lutseshe County MP Isaac Mudoi breaks down some of the issues that were discussed.
