Muslim women say most of them don’t know their rights
Women across the country continue to live in abusive marriages because various cultures have conditioned them to live under such conditions. During a Muslim Women's dialogue in Budaka District, muslim women accused men of perpetuating domestic violence, a practice that is breaking hundreds of families. The Islamic Women's Initiative for Justice, Law and Peace was behind the dialogue.
