Parliament disrupted by water shortage
The legislature was a shadow of its usually busy self, as many offices were shut down after the building suffered a severe water shortage. Several employees at Parliament and MPs received messages urging them to stay away until the water shortage was resolved. However, later in the day, the National Water and Sewerage Corporation explained that there had been a temporary shutdown due to renovation works on pipes supplying Parliament and several buildings in the vicinity.
