Refugees in Northen Uganda asked to venture into rice farming
Following a reduction in the relief aid to the refugees in Northern Uganda, civil society organizations have started empowering the displaced to start rice growing to supplement their nutrition needs. One of those involved in this action, known as the ASPIRE Project, is ADRA Uganda, which is hoping to raise hope among the refugees and host community in Bidi Bidi Refugee camp in Northern Uganda.
