Rukungiri blocks commissioning of 6 billion shilling plant
The planned commissioning of a 6.3 billion shilling fecal sludge treatment plant in Rukungiri Municipality was abruptly stopped after officials found the facility incomplete and riddled with defects. A team of officials, led by Deputy Resident District Commissioner Wilberforce Ongom, was stunned to discover that the facility meant for commissioning was still incomplete and defective.
